Speaking Center
About Us
The Speaking Center is staffed by highly trained undergraduate and graduate student peer-consultants who primarily work with speakers in one-to-one settings. We provide a welcoming atmosphere where speakers can express ideas and skillfully develop presentations, from initial brainstorming to polished delivery. Located centrally on campus, we also offer space for small group meetings, private practice rooms, and a workshop room/classroom, all equipped with presentation technology. The Speaking Center also hosts multilingual conversation groups, speaking events, and dozens of unique and interdisciplinary workshops for students, faculty, staff, and other campus stakeholders.
